wooden knuckles

This wooden knuckle (prototype) is a preoccupation with wood carving I taught myself as a young boy scout. I carved belt buckles, neckerchief slides, walking sticks, and survival tools for staying outdoors in the middle of nowhere. They were adornments, tools, supports, and weapons. This set is for a proposed exhibition of Objects I made as a kid – Objects I wish I made as a kid
